Disneying hard until after 10pm last night (on our first day) did a number on us. Apparently, we’re supposed to work up to that?
Tanya & I ran to town to knock out some shopping…and window shopping. We picked up some repair parts for the trailer, some food stuff, and some random other things we needed.
While picking up the trailer parts at Camping World and we looked at a few new fifth wheel toy haulers. We had high hopes, but they weren’t in good shape and also weren’t the floorplans we’re interested in. The sales dude even apologized for their condition. Oh well.
We got back “home” and we knocked out a few maintenance items. Somehow a valve under the sink started to drip, so that’s now replaced. We had a bit of a trailer side-wall trim issue on the way down to Orlando, but that fix is still TBD.
(Secret note to us: Ancient History)
All that sidestepping aside, we didn’t make it to a Disney park today. We saw some of the nighttime fireworks though, so maybe that almost counts a little.
We drove around Fort Wilderness tonight to look at everyone’s Halloween decorations. It was crazy. Many of the campsite loops are so decorated that you can barely drive through them. Super cool, but maybe we need a golf cart if we’re going to experience Halloween at Fort Wilderness properly.
Next time?
